AVISHKAR – Azoxystrobin 4.8% + Chlorothalonil 40% SC
Avishkar is a broad-spectrum systemic and contact fungicide containing Azoxystrobin 4.8% and Chlorothalonil 40% SC. The registered formulation is recommended for controlling Downy Mildew, Leaf Spot and Powdery Mildew in Cucumber and Watermelon, and Downy Mildew and Leaf Spot in Cauliflower.

Mode of Action
Azoxystrobin provides systemic fungicidal activity, while Chlorothalonil provides contact activity on fungal pathogens. Their combination provides both systemic and contact protection against the registered fungal diseases.
Application & Dose
Application: Foliar spray
Dose: 3 L/ha, approximately 1.2 L/acre
Water: 500 L/ha, approximately 200 L/acre
Dose per litre: 3 ml/L water
Time of application: First spray preventively or at initial disease appearance, followed by another application at 10–15 day intervals depending on disease pressure.
Maximum applications: 2
Waiting period: Cucumber – 3 days; Cauliflower – 3 days; Watermelon – 5 days
Re-entry period: 24 hours

Safety
- Wear gloves, mask and full clothing while mixing and spraying.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while spraying. Wash hands and face after use.
- Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Do not spray against the wind.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mouth and clothing and avoid inhalation of spray mist.
- Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution; use a suitable stick for stirring.
- The product is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Avoid use in or around aquaculture and prevent contamination of ponds, lakes, drains and other water bodies.
- May cause skin sensitization following skin contact.
- Antidote / first aid: No specific antidote is known; give symptomatic and supportive therapy.
